throw a damper on ( 흥을 깨다 ) an arm and a leg ( 거액의 돈 ) a feather in one's cap ( 눈부신 업적, 자랑거리 ) put one over on ( ---를 속이다 ) the horse's mouth ( 믿을 만한 소식통으로부터, 본인의 입으로부터 ) 같은 관용어구들이 있지만 전작들에 비해서 읽기가 더 쉬운 작품이다. 요리 관련이야기나 주변적인 이야기가 있지만 전작에 비해서 이야기의 흐름이 끊어지지 않고 재밌게 읽을 수 있는 작품이다.  reunion, cheat, gamble, tattoo, card, baseball, fake, cell phone, ice pick, loan, swimming, club, cottage, twins, divorce, bidding, car accident, witness, lake, forget 등이 작품을 이해하는 중요한 단어들인 거 같다. 미국에서 드라마로 제작된 거 같은데 보지는 못했다.
