출판된 원서를 구할 수 없어서 한국어 번역서를 읽었다. 일본어 원서가 존재하지 않을 수 있는 거 같다. 아무튼 이전에 읽었던 "ブラック・ショーマンと名もなき町の殺人 블랙쇼맨과 이름 없는 마을의 살인"이 코로나 시대의 일본을 배경으로해서 재밌게 읽은 기억이 있다. 한국에서도 반응이 좋았던 거 같다. 그래서 이번 작품이 한국에서 먼저 출판된 거 같다. 단순하게 말하면 트랩 핸드라는 술집 바에서 전직 마술사인 마스터가 여자 손님들의 고민을 도와주는 이야기다. '맨션의 여자, 위기의 여자, 환상의 여자'라는 작품들로 구성된 단편집이고 232페이지 정도의 미스터리 장르의 책이다. 그의 다른 작품들처럼 진도가 잘 나가는 편이지만 내용에 있어서 부정적인 독자들도 있는 거 같다.
