MY SISTER'S KEEPER by Jodi Picoult

"Although much of the plot is somewhat predictable, there are some unexpected developments. Anyway, it doesn't matter. It's not all about the end, but about the journey, and the writing is simply a real pleasure to read. The main characters are very developed and complex, providing lots of food for thought when analysing why people make the decisions they do. As soon as I finished reading the book I started reading it again. Jodi Picoult is an amazing writer who excels at painting very detailed portraits of her characters to the extent that you really feel that you know them. This book is definitely one of my favorites of hers"

이 책을 덮으면서 느낀점은 "WHAT A LIFE !" 였다. 독자에 따라서 결말이 슬프기도 하겠지만 가족간의 화해와 사랑의 회복, 산자는 산자의 몫을 열심히 살아야 한다는 이야기를 해주는 거 같다. 비교적 쉬운 문장의 구성과 각 등장인물의 관점에서의 이야기 전개는 이 작품을 입체적으로 이해하게 해준다. 읽어 볼 만한 책이다.
