"普通の推理小説だと思って読み始めたら、ヤングアダルトっていうのか、高校生向けくらいの推理小説でした。なので、なかなか青春というか、若者ならではの閉塞感とか、息苦しさが描かれていて、かなり大人になった今だから読んでいてとても楽しめました。高校生くらいの時に読んだら逆に苦しかったかも.."

'Young Adult'계열의 소설이기 때문에 그다지 어려운 문장의 작품은 아니다. 글의 구성도 등장인물들을 중심으로 구성되기 때문에 읽기에 쉽다. 'Young Adult' 계열의 내용도 다루지만 추리소설의 재미있는 점도 잘 보여준다는 점에서 이 책은 읽을 만하다. 다만 어떤 부분들은 읽는 것을 생략해도 될 정도로 이야기 전개가 늘어지는 느낌도 준다. 하지만 전체적으로 진도가 빠르고 읽는데 집중이 잘되는 편이라 한번 읽기 시작하면 계속 읽게 되는 단점(?)을 보여준다.
