Ben Hope 시리즈의 시작을 알리는 작품이다. 이 작품을 읽다보면 '제임스 본드' '본' '책 리처' 등이 생각난다. 이 작품은 영화로 만들어도 재밌을거 같다. 전직 'SAS' 요원이 주인공인데 격투하는 장면에서는 '책 리처' 가 비밀집단과의 싸움은 '제임스 본드' 가 추격하는 장면들은 '본'을 ... 확실히 다른 작품들과 비슷한 면도 있지만 이 책 나름의 분위기도 있기에 읽을 만하다. 영어 표현도 무난하고 편집도 읽기에 편하다.
