"I have only recently started to read the books by Debbie Macomber and I am really enjoying them. They are just a nice read with interesting stories but nothing to make your heart stop beating or make you start to bite your nails. Once you get into them you soon start to remember all the people from the previous books and hope that there will be a bit about them in the next book so that you know how they are and what they are getting up to. I read these books when I want something that will keep me calm after maybe reading something that has had me sitting on the edge of my chair. I told my sister in law about them and she too has started reading them..."

재밌게 읽었다. 300페이지가 약간 넘는 길이에 문장 표현이나 책의 편집이 읽기에 편하다. 이 책은 여행소설, 가정소설, 인생 소설, 연애소설 등 다양하게 말할 수 있는 책이다. 젊은 여자하고 결혼하기 위해서 집을 떠났던 남편이 재결합하자고 하는 상황에서 여주인공은 딸, 그리고 시어머니 하고 여행을 떠난다. 여행이라는 것은 그들에게 사랑에 대해서.. 용서와 복수에 대해서 .. 삶의 용기에 대해서 .. 다시 생각해보는 기회를 제공한다.  다른 작품들에서도 흔히 볼 수 있는 전형적인 주제를 다루는 작품이지만 이 책 나름의 매력을 충분히 보여준다.
