With her neighbouring store owner acting even more strangely than usual, and a problem with her accounts, Jill is as run off her feet as boyfriend and South Cove detective Greg King. When staff numbers fall Jill finds herself covering shifts and running errands she thought she'd long passed on to others.  Tea Hee라는 가게를 새롭게 개업하게 된 미스터리한 여성의 등장과 그녀와 대립하는 여동생의 등장, 그리고 사촌의 죽음, 읽어버린 수표의 행방, 마을에 등장하는 미스터리한 라이더, 주인공이 새롭게 시작하는 푸드 트럭을 둘러싼 이야기가 중심을 이루고 있다. 가족의 의미, 새로운 가능성의 발견과 신뢰 등도 이 작품의 의미를 더한다. 임시사원으로 출발했지만 진정한 가치를 발휘하는 미혼모, 사업 문제뿐만 아니라 연애 문제에서 여주인공의 멘토인 이모, 동네의 다양한 가십을 전달해주는 친구, 요리가 뛰어난 친구, 세속적이고 계산적인 시장, 시장 비서이자 여주인공의 베스트 프렌드 등의 이야기가 이 작품의 재미를 더해주고 있다. 글의 구성은 비교적 무난하지만 문장들은 시간을 가지고 읽어야 하는 부분이 좀 있다.
