'The Selfish Gene 이기적 유전자'라는 작품으로 유명한 과학자다. 이 책 'Flights Of Fancy'는 개인적으로 좋아하는 내용을 담고 있기에 관심을 갖고 읽었다. 이 작품의 좋은 점은 읽기에 비교적 쉽다는 것이다. 깊게 파고드는 전문적인 내용들이 아니기에 가벼운 마음으로 읽을 수 있다는 것이다. 책속에 등장하는 생소한 새들이나 식물들의 이름들을 인터넷으로 검색하면서 읽은 것을 제외하면 큰 무리가 없는 내용인거 같다. 그리고 내용과 관련된 인상적인 삽화들이 많기 때문에 읽는 재미가 더 하다.
