미스터리, 액션, 범죄, 경찰 장르의 단편소설이다. 보통 300--400페이지 분량의 이야기를 100페이지정도로 표현한 작품이라고 볼 수 있다. 이야기전개도 빠르고 쓸데없는(?) 주변적인 이야기는 최소화했다. 임팩트 있는 이야기 전개뿐만 아니라 문장이나 표현도 작품을 즐기는데 도움이 된다. 부분적으로 난이도 있는 표현들도 있지만 작품을 이해하는데 큰 문제는 없다. 장편이 부담되는 독자들에게 좋은 작품이다.
