' I had read a few Reacher books but it was the tv series that reignited my interest and sent me back to the books. I now plan to read all the books in order. Each book has been great and if the rest are anywhere near as good as Echo Burning that will be amazing. This is for me the best Reacher book so far. Totally un-put-downable! Great characters, great story, Reacher on top form...it is an author writing at the top of his game......"

불법이민, 가정폭력, 무차별 살인, 인종차별, 청부살인, 입막음, 속죄, 폭풍, 납치, 거짓진술, 자기 방어, 탈세, 콜드 게이스, 비뚤어진 우정과 모정, 복수, 등이 중요한 의미를 갖는 단어들이다. Jack Reacher의 다른 작품들에 비해서 장황하고 현학적인 묘사들이 많지 않아서 좋았고 특히 문장의 구조나 표현도 읽는데 편해서 좋았다.
