The Scotland Yard investigator — and the past that haunts him daily — remain dogged in their search to find out the truth amidst the assumptions, the possibles and the unknowns. This is great reading and a truly hard-to-put-down mystery to follow but well worth the reading......"

한번 읽기 시작하면 끝을 봐야 하는 작품이다. 이전 시리즈보다도 미스터리적 요소가 강하고 악마를 상징하는 범인과의 대결이 매력적이다. 이 작품들에 익숙해지다 보니 '느린'미학에 적응이 되는 거 같다. 장편이고 인터넷의 도움을 받아야 하는 부분들도 있지만 마지막페이지까지 재밌게 읽을 수 있는 작품이다.
