If you're looking for practical ideas that you can put to work immediately, you'll find page after page of them" "Much of what I've learned over the last 30 years was confirmed by Ray Silverstein and many things I've never thought of were delivered" "I found this book to be a great compliation of advice from small business owners that have a diversity of experiences that help to guide me in my own role as a small business owner..." 경제와 경영에 관심이 있는 사람들은 읽어 볼 만한 책인거 같다. 이론적인 접근보다는 실용적인 면을 다루는 책이다. Sales, Marketing, Organization, Human Assets, Finance, Transition 등을 사례등을 통해서 설명해주고 있다. 다만 이 내용들이 우리나라의 경영환경에 어떻게 적용을 할 수 있는지는 잘 모르겠다. 문장이나 단어가 토익을 공부해본 사람이라면 읽는데 큰 부담은 없을 듯 싶은데 이런쪽의 분야에 대해서 잘 모르는 독자들은 읽기가 힘들 수도 있다. 그리고 제목에는 "small businesses" 라고 적혀 있는데 이 책에서 언급하는 회사들이 글자 그대로 "small" 한것만은 아닌듯 싶다. 다시 말해서 "mom-and-pop" 종류는 아니다.
