'어떻게 읽고 쓸 것인가?" "작가가 되는 법" "작가의 길" 등 비슷한 주제를 다루는 책들을 읽었지만 이 책은 좀 다른거 같다. 작가에 한정된 것이 아니라 "creative" 와 관련된 모든 분야의 사람들에게 도움이 되는 책인거 같다. 사실 읽으면서 보통 일상의 삶을 사는 사람들에게도 부분적으로 도움을 주는 책인거 같다는 생각을 했다.  작가가 말해주는 "creative" 라는 말은 우리의 삶에 다양하게 적용될 수 있는 말이다. 창의적으로 삶을 산다는 것은 용감하게 살아간다는 것을 의미한다고 작가는 말하고 있다. 글을 쓴다는 것은 타자를 위하기 보다는 먼저 자기 자신을 행복하게 하기 위한 행위이다. 열정보다는 호기심을 추구하는 삶 ... 자기파괴적인 삶보다는 긍정적이고 생산적인 삶을 ... 예술로 먹고 살고자 하는 사람들에게 해주는 현실적이고 현명한 조언등 ...
