It took a chapter or two to get my bearings on the Museum Mystery series, but despite suspicion & guessing and of whodunit( ok, so I was 50% right), there is enough wealth of background to keep me coming back for more. Eleanor(Nell) Pratt is the protagonist in the Philadelphia based series. Nell is also a very relateable protagonist mostly for her smarts, her appreciation of treasured legacies and her ability to not let "no" stand in her way. If it doesn't feel right, then she stays the course..."

"I five-star-loved this first in the Museum Mystery series by Sheila Connolly. Having read a book in another of Connolly's mystery series, I expected a great story and got it. Nell Pratt is a woman about 40 years old and 15 pounds overweight who lives alone in a little cottage she has decorated on a shoestring budget, but she's proud of it. Nell is the fundraiser for the Pennsylvania Antiquarian Society which houses historical documents and other items that date back in Pennsylvania's and Philadelphia's history. Nell is very conscientous about her job and does it well"

Sheila Connolly 코지 미스터리 시리즈 세가지중 Museum Mystery에 속하는 작품이다. 역사적 유물이나 문서 등을 전시 보관하는 박물관에서 일어나는 살인, 도난 사건을 재밌게 그리고 있는 작품이다. 코지 미스터리가 가지는 지적이고 소소한 즐거움을 즐길 수 있고 읽기에도 편해서 즐겁게 읽었다. 특히 인물들이 매력적인 거 같다. 여주인공 Nell 도 매력적이지만 Marty라는 인물도 상당히 매력적인 거 같다. 이야기 전개가 전형적인 공식을 따르지만 인물들의 재밌는 대화나 엉뚱한 행동들은 독자들에게 즐거움을 주기에 충분하다.
