THE TRACKER by CHAD ZUNKER

"Great story and clever running of the past and present alongside each other and still maintain attention for both stories. I am normally wary of stories that try to interweave past and present pleased to say that Chad succeeded where others fail. A clever plot well written with characters that were real. Great opening that captured the reader's attention I certainly read well past my normal beauty sleep time. Sam is a character that demands sympathy and admiration and you want him to succeed in this tale of political intrigue. I highly recommend this roller coaster of the highest order" "This is a really well thought out, exiting book.. Normally I don't like a story where the past is frequently brought up but in this book the transitions are so well executed that extra excitement is generated and almost forces the reader to keep turning the pages to discover what happens/happened next. Although there is a political background to the plot the suspense is centred around a non political character who is made a very believable person. A thoroughly entertaining read and I can't wait to for the next in series.."

이 책은 'Sam'이라는 남자 주인공이 등장하는 첫 번째 소설이다. 전에 읽었던 'Shadow Shepherd'가 두 번째 책이다. 미드 '24시' 정도의 긴장감은 아니지만... 추적, 도주, 살인, 미스터리한 사건의 연속 등 나름의 긴장감을 잘 보여주는 책이다. 진도가 잘 나가고 한 번 읽기 시작하면 멈추기 힘든 책이다. 장르에 맞게 문장도 비교적 깔끔하고 읽기에 편하다. 다만 반전이라고 하기에는 마지막 부분이 좀 약한 거 같다.
