I really loved this series - except for a few bits I chose not to dwell on, but none of those moments in this last book!! Each book was great, and the story flowed. The 'family' atmosphere was wonderful and I would have loved to be part of such a group. Mac and Stella were the chief protagonists in this last story, and they were fleshed out well. Nothing over-stated, just a couple involved in living their lives well and looking after those who mattered to them. A story with loads of love for each other, and well wrapped up in a very readable yarn. This was a mixed genre, probably classified as romance-thriller......"

'Scarlet Falls' 시리즈의 마지막 작품이다. 형제들이 주인공을 번갈아 한다는 점, 새로운 연인들을 만난다는 점, 가족과 함께 살기 위해서 정착한다는 점등이 시리즈의 공통점이다. 전작들에 비해서 이번 작품의 주인공은 좀 약하다는 예상을 했는데 놀라운 반전이 기다리고 있었다. 정말 막판까지 긴장감을 갖게 하는 작품이었다. 액션도 전작 못지않게 화려하다. kidnapping, drug, addiction, gunshots, explosive, psycho, scarf, runaway, undercover, contracts, stalking, blade, cell, family, funeral, domestic violence, gang, manhunt, rehab, flood 등이 중요한 단어들이다. 전작들에 비해서 난이도가 있는 표현들이 등장하지만 이해하는 데는 큰 문제가 없고 문장의 구조도 난이하지 않아서 진도가 잘 나가는 작품이다.
