노숙자 무차별 살인사건, 무능하고 차별적인 경찰, 과거의 사건에 대한 책임과 새로운 시작, 결혼의 위기와 오해, 성폭력 사건, 거짓된 진술과 반전등이 중심 이야기인 거 같다. 전작처럼 이야기의 전개가 빠르고 편집의 구성도 읽기에 편하다. 문장이나 표현은 전작보다 읽기에 편하다. 다만 전작들에 비해서 이야기의 크기나 긴장감은 좀 떨어지는 거 같다.
