Relationship expert Annie Hart disappears and Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter, is after her because Annie has jumped bail. She was arrested for armed robbery. In order to get Annie, Stephanie must take over her “ case load” of troubled romantics. Annie wanted everyone to have a great Valentine’s Day — and time is tight. The romantic problems Stephanie needs to solve are quirky and varied. Her partner in matchmaking is Diesel, a gorgeous male who claims to have super powers. He works for a mysterious organization on mysterious assignments. Stephanie does a superhuman job of resisting his muscles and his dimples. After all, she already has two men in her life! I enjoyed this book even if it is pretty light reading. Stephanie never false to amuse. Ok, the plot is more than a little fanciful, but that’s inevitable when Diesel appears on the scene.....

주인공 Stephanie Plum 과 미스터리 맨 Diesel의 코믹한 이야기를 다루고 있는 작품이다. 단편이고 영어 문장들이 무난하기 때문에 읽는데 큰 문제는 없지만 역시 가끔씩 등장하는 Slang 표현들은 인터넷의 도움을 받아야 하는 부분이다. 대부분의 그런 표현들이 작품을 이해하는데 방해가 되지 않기 때문에 부담 없이 읽으면 되는 작품이다. Valentine's day, matchmaker, hive, manhunt, wedding, bracelet, pawnshop, predending, escaping, virgin, meat, babysitter 등이 중요한 의미를 갖는 단어들이다.
