日本では、扶桑社と集英社から翻訳されて出版されているシリーズです。娯楽小説ですが、読み終わるとなんか細かいことがバカバカしくなり、元気をもらえます。仕事に疲れた30代・40代の女性におすすめです。今、１２冊まで刊行されているんですが、続きが待ち切れずに洋書で購入。ストレスなく読めますが英語の勉強にはなってないかも（笑）。出てくるスラングは決して、外では使えない..... とてもおもしろく、勉強になる本です。内容も明るく気分を前向きにしてくれます..........
Fun beach read as always. Fast paced and absolutely unbelievably impossible. I love all of her characters and follow this series.......... I have to say I enjoyed this book. I recently got into the Plum series books and haven’t stopped since I started the first one, sometimes reading a book a day. Therefore, I was reluctant on starting this book from the reviews I’d read. After reading the book, I have to say I disagree with most of the reviews. I think people saying “goodbye to my favorite series” are being dramatic. While this book wasn't as exciting as the others, it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be......
처음부터 끝까지 계속 웃게 만드는 작품이다. 일본 독자가 말하듯이 이런 작품을 지하철에서 읽다 보면 오해를 살 수 있을 정도로 웃기는 작품이다. loser, stalker, robbery, monkey, stealing money, stakeout, wedding plan, game, digging, manhunt, killings, insane singer, greed, home security 등이 작품을 이해하는데 중요한 의미를 갖는 단어들이다. 영어 문장은 전작들처럼 무난하지만 표현들은 작품을 이해하는데 큰 문제는 아니지만 인터넷의 도움을 받아야 하는 단어나 구어들이 등장한다.
