이 작품은 Memory Man 시리즈 6번째 작품인데 특이한 점은 David Baldacci의 다른 베스트셀러 시리즈 작품의 등장인물들이 함께 사건을 풀어간다는 것이다. 풀어야 하는 미스터리도 많지만 등장인물들도 많기 때문에 작품이 벽돌 같은 장편이 된 거 같다. 특히 Reacher 못지않은 긴 묘사의 문장들은 장편이 되는 큰 요인이다. 오랜만에 Memory Man 시리즈를 다시 읽게 되어서 초반에 적응하는데 어려움이 있었는데 그 이후로는 큰 어려움 없이 읽을 수 있어서 좋았다. 편견, 재산, 미움, 과거, 비밀, 가족, 자살, 살인, 납치, 암살, 비밀기지, 화학, 종교, 석유, 오염, 탈출, 협력, 우정, 추적, 로보트, 총격 등이 작품을 이해하는데 중요한 단어들인 거 같다.
