'Georgia'라는 인물이 주인공으로 등장하는 시리즈의 첫 작품이다. 물론 짧은 글의 전작이 있지만 이 책이 본격적인 미스터리의 시작이라고 볼 수 있다. 전에 읽었던 책에 비해서는 좀 아쉬운 점이 있는 건 이야기의 전개가 좀 지루한 점이 있다는 것이다.  Chapter 12 이후에야 읽는 맛이 나는 책이다. 물론 왕실에 관한 이야기나 작품의 배경에 관심이 있다면 다른 이야기지만... 작품의 시대가 그래서... 익숙하지 않은 단어나 표현이 몇몇 나오기도 하지만 전체적으로 읽기에 무난하다.
