This novel is not about humor, but I believe authors of good novels I had read always seemed to exude something like that only for me in their writings, or any genres of novels. And every time I feel it, I believe the authors have breathed life into their novels, or they have been not just conscientious for every single word in their writings, but they have been tripping the light fantastic in their heart while writing...." "長いことかかって読み終えました。2つの時間軸で物語が進むので、状況がつかめるまで、少しかかりました。人物も多かったので、表をつくって、時折参考にしながら読んでいきました。主人公のお父さんが、重要な役割を果たすのですが、ネタバレになるので、これ以上はないようについて書きません。でも、読み終わったとき、物語の中の人物たちに囲まれる主人公がとても愛おしく、温かな気持ちになりました。とても、読後感がよかったです.."
이 작품을 읽고 인상에 남는 것은 'MOBY DICK'이라는 책이다. 도서관에서 빌린 책이 16년 전에 부모가 빌렸던 책이라는 것을 알면 어떤 느낌일까? 이 작품의 여주는 그런 경험을 하게 된다. 도서관에서 대출 받은 책이 약 16년전에 아버지가 대출받았던 동일한 책임을 알게 되는 장면이 개인적으로 인상에 남는다. YOUNG ADULT 계열의 작품이지만 너무 쉽게 생각하면 고생할 수 있다. 빨리 읽게 다는 생각보다는 여유를 갖고 읽는 것이 좋다.
