"....  Could only give this book 4 stars as I didn't think it was as good as the others, however saying that, I still can't wait for November and the next release. Violet's character is getting worse every book and sister or not, no-one would put up with it. Joe has gone from despising Rose's behaviour to condoning it by being with her. In the other books, the love triangle kept me hooked and I even found myself thinking about it at work however this one has gone off the boil. I was always, be with Joe, no be with Mason but now I just think Joe is acting like a spoiled brat and there is something definitely dodgy about Mason, dump them both and be with Bruce! Overall I will be sorry to see the series come to an end....."

여주인공의 애정문제만 아니면 이 작품은 읽을 만하다. 문장의 구조나 표현이 읽는데 어렵지 않은 편이기 때문에 장편이 가지는 무게는 별로 없다. 시리즈가 거듭되면서 변해가는 여주인공의 성장 모습을 보는 것도 이 작품의 미덕이다. 의존적인 존재에서 독립적인 존재로의 변화를 보여주는 모습이나 위선적인 언니와의 관계에서 보여주는 여주인공의 모습은 작품의 재미를 더한다. 재밌는 인물들의 참여와 위상의 변화도 작품의 재미를 더하고 있다. 다만 여주인공을 둘러싼 애정 문제는 막장으로 달려가고 있다.
