지금까지 읽은 액션장르의 다른 작품들에 비해서 생활 묘사(?)가 세밀한 편이고 이야기 전개가 느리게 느껴지는 점이 있다. 사물들에 대한 묘사나 같은 건물에 사는 사람들과의 이야기, 심리적 묘사, 주인공 본인이 어떻게 킬러로 길러지는지에 대한 회상 등의 이야기들이 액션 장르가 가지는 스피디한 부분을 방해한다고 느낄 수도 있는 거 같다.  하지만 이 작품 나름의 매력으로 볼 수도 있는 부분들이다. 액션 장르의 장점을 가지고 있는 작품이기 때문에 큰 실망은 하지 않을 것이다. 다만 문장이나 표현이 다소 어려울 수 있다. 책이 초반 중반 후반까지 비슷하게 흘러가기 때문에 '미리 보기'를 통해서 초반 분위기를 확인하고 본인의 분위기와 맞는지를 확인하고 읽기 시작해야 한다. 영화 제작의 소문이 있는 거 같은데.... 기대를 해 본다.
