단편 같은 장편이다. 내용도 재밌고 문장이나 표현도 읽는데 편해서 장편치고는 부담이 비교적 덜한 작품이었다. 로맨스물이기 때문에 성적인 표현들이나 심리적 묘사가 많이 등장하지만 읽을 만하고 인디아나 존스나 라라 크로포트 같은 모험물이기 때문에 작품의 분위기나 이야기의 긴장감을 더하는 액션장면들도 좋다. 마지막까지 이어지는 미스터리한 이야기의 전개는 독자들을 사로잡는 작가의 능력을 잘 보여주는 거 같다. 전에 읽은 작품보다도 이 작품이 더 재밌는 거 같다.
