" James Patterson has done it once again with a well written story addition to his “Women’s Murder Club” series. Some reviewers didn’t care for the ending but I thought it was fabulous and I can’t wait for the next book. This one was a cliff-hanger at the end but that’s how Patterson keeps his fans happy and following his series. This book is well organized, strong developed characters and reads like a more traditional crime thriller. The book could be read as one but considering the ending it might entice you to wait for the next one to be published. A woman is found knifed to death on a busy street corner in broad daylight. Lindsay Boxer, a detective of the San Francisco Police Department is on the scene and focuses her thoughts that the knife attack could be link to one of her friends who are known as the “murder club members”. Could one of them be involved? She thought of Clair Washburn, the San Francisco medical examiner or Yuki Castellano, the strong young San Francisco district attorney or Cindy Thomas, the crime desk reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and can’t believe she is the one who has to follow up with the investigation....."

'Knife'로 여성들을 죽이는 사이코와 그를 추적하는 전직 FBI요원의 긴장감 넘치는 대치, 마약 상인들을 죽이고 돈을 훔치는 부패한 경찰, 빼앗긴 마약을 되찾고자 살인을 시작하는 마약왕의 등장, 억울한 누명을 쓰고 교도소에서 죽은 소년을 위한 법정싸움 등 긴장감 넘치는 다양한 이야기를 보여주는 작품이다. 처음부터 끝까지 긴장감 있게 전개되는 이야기가 매력적이다. 쓸데없는 이야기가 없다. 문장의 구성이나 편집은 전작들과 비슷한 편이고 표현들은 전작들보다 읽기에 편하다.
