내용도 흥미롭고 영어 번역도 좋아서 재밌게 읽었다. 한국인 작가 임성순의 '컨설턴트'가 원작인 거 같다. 한국어 판을 읽지 않았기 때문에 번역의 완성도에 대해서 말할 수 없지만 읽는데 큰 문제가 없고 한국식 표현을 영어로 재밌게(?) 잘 표현한 거 같아서 영어로 번역된 작품이지만 이야기가 잘 전달되는 거 같다. 인터넷, 자연사, 설계사, 컴퍼니, 강박증, Syombol, 의심, 종교, 성형, IMF, Cyworld, 미스터리 소설, manager, 자살, 결혼, 환영, 환상, 테스트 등이 중요한 의미를 갖는 단어들이다. 문장의 구조나 표현등이 난해하지 않아서 좋다.
