'Camel Club'이라는 새로운 시리즈의 시작을 알리는 작품이다. 단편이고 새로운 시리즈를 알리는 작품이기 때문에 장점과 단점을 잘 보여주는 작품이다. 단편이 보여주는 임팩트한 이야기 전개가 장점이지만 새로운 시리즈를 알리는 선전이라는 점에서 독자들 사이에서 불만이 있는 거 같다. 단편이지만 이야기의 구성이나 미스터리적 반전이 좋다. 하지만 좀 더 넓은 이야기전개가 없다는 것이 아쉬운 점이다. 문장이나 표현은 무난한 편이고 단편(약 69페이지 정도)이기 때문에 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 작품이다. 'Will Robie' 시리즈가 끝나면 'Camel Club'시리즈에 도전할 생각이다.
