특이한 형식의 단편집이다. 운문적 요소를 보여주는 산문이라는 표현이 맞는거 같다. The Burden of Being Juliet, Emergency City Cleanup, Abstract Art For A Sheriff, My Upstairs Neighbor, Night Picture of Rain Sound 등 17편의 단편들로 구성된 단편집이다. 문장들이 가지는 의미가 복잡하게 이해될 수 있는 부분도 있지만 그렇게 어려운 작품은 아닌 거 같다.
