LOVE AND OTHER WORDS by Christina Lauren

allybanrun 2019. 10. 26. 22:35

"Macy Lea Sorensen leaned about loss at the tender age of ten when her mother died. But before her death, she left her husband a “roadmap” of how to raise their little girl knowing she was loved.
As fate would have it, this map leads them to a cabin in the small town of Healdsburg and down a path where nothing will ever be the same. Elliot was the bookish sibling in the large Petropoulos brood. He could always be found hiding in a quite space with a book in his hand. And this is exactly how he meets his new neighbour .." " As I got older, my parents had a vacation house in Gualala, and they moved to Windsor for awhile after I grew up. I just felt AT HOME in this book. But, the locations weren't what I loved about this book, they were just the icing on the cake. This book is special to me for reasons I don't think I can explain to anyone. The love and the pain in this book are *exquisite* to me." "I finished reading Love and Other Words on January 21, 2019. I started reading it the day before on the 20th and finished it the next day since this was a book that was hard to put down. It put me through an emotional wreck, especially at the end of the book. I was literally in tears that my hubs asked me what was wrong? I couldn’t tell him because he would have never understood .."

"The past decade seems like a foggy blur, like we took a long road trip from one point of the earth and back again, traveling in a wide circle, destined to end up here."
