I enjoyed reading it but found it difficult to hold when relaxing... I must say Bill Bryson has immense knowledge and can impart it well... I had hoped to find a little more about the way Americanisms are creeping into the English language.... 主題はアメリカの歴史の本ですがその中に　米語があふれています ただ　レベルは高いですね　私は海外生活も結構長かったのですが、やはり、やっぱり全部はよくはわからないです。面白くは思いますが...

읽은 지 좀 된 책이다. 재밌게 있었고 영어에 관심 있는 분들에게 재미 삼아 읽어 보라고 권하던 책이다. 작가의 유머러스한 접근방법도 좋고 영어뿐만 아니라 미국의 역사와 문화에 대한 저자 나름의 분석도 참고할만한 점이 있는 책이다. 원서로 읽기에는 독자에 따라서 시간과 노력이 필요하다.
