".... After reading this, I am definitely going to seek more from this author. The note at the end by the translator is just as good and intriguing ..... The connection between the two main characters so different from each ones view and repeated sentences like refrains in the story were suprising and so refreshing. The meaning of a sentence is never the same for anyone and Bae Suah showed you in her book how different it can be for the one who hears/read/thinks it. I was fascinated by the structure and the developing story. Finding hints and symbols that connected both „worlds“ with each other. Often, when I was sure Ayami’s world is the real one, there come up a paragraph like ......"

내용이나 글의 구성이 쉽지 않은 작품이다. 모국어로 읽어도 무슨 말인지 곰곰이 생각해야 하는 심리적 소설이다. "Simultaneity of difference, even opposition. Like Bae's others, this book is simultaneously a detective novel and a surreal, poetic fever dream. Inhabited both by abstract, myserious characters who blur and overlap with one another .... 'other world' is both another plane of consciousness and the ..... as for which is nore 'real' ......"라는 번역자의 말은 이 작품을 이해하는 데 도움이 된다. 문장은 일반적이지만 단어들이나 표현들은 개념을 잘 잡아야 하는 거 같다. 이야기가 시간적 공간적으로 복잡하게 얽혀있기 때문에 읽는데 당황스러울 수 있다.
